Welcome to the live pre-release of RegainAmerica.  We are building an open community dedicated to effecting positive change on the local, state and national levels.  This free collaborative environment will empower members to freely voice their concerns on issues that are important to them.  More importantly the goal of RegainAmerica is to provide a platform where people can not only freely exchange ideas and views, but work together to effect real change. 

RegainAmerica began as a memory - of the way things used to be in America, and the belief that by working together we can regain the greatness that once was America.  Specifically, RegainAmerica is a new multi-functional community website that empowers all of us  working both individually and collectively - to change the present status quo and Regain America.    The changes in society have been contributing to the erosion of core family values and to the disintegration of the social and economic framework of the country. Want to be one of the pioneer contributors to RegainAmerica?  We are looking for a small number of contributing writers to get RegainAmerica off the ground.  If you have a passion for writing and want to make a positive difference, we want to hear from you!

Additional information about RegainAmerica can be found in the About RegainAmerica and Terms of Service pages.  We are not looking for people based upon any particular political views, but rather on their ability to write well, and constructively articulate issues.  Bringing together different perspectives in a constructive and productive way is one of our main goals.

Release Schedule

The first pre-release will include personal blogging, public forums, and a full public article authoring environment.  Social networking features built into the site include integration with Twitter and Facebook, as well as internal friend and group systems.  Special interest groups can be created where members work together in private on issues with the intention to go public with them when the group is ready.  Each special interest group will have their own workspace where documents, discussions, files, and other materials can be shared.

Subsequent releases will include public mailing lists, covering topics of interest to the members.  Workgroups, Articles, Polls, etc will have the ability to be linked with the appropriate government groups (email notifications and other mechanisms).  This will further empower RegainAmerica members to work on projects with an aim to effect REAL change.

The first public release (Phase I) of RegainAmerica, tentatively scheduled for early July 2010, will incorporate a fully free and open membership.  Members will be able to create articles, forum postings and blogs on the site, as well as commenting on other content.
